Newer and faster!

Today we have uploaded a new release of our application – WapAlta v4.00.08.

In the new version, we have made some minor improvements (that don’t actually deserve a long description). But the most important thing is that the new Wapalta works CONSIDERABLY FASTER than version 4.00.00.

It runs 2 to 3 times faster on Sony Ericsson phones and 1.5 to 2 times faster on Nokia. The new version requires less main memory resources and saves more data traffic.

So if you think your Wapalta works too slowly, we recommend that you update it to this new version.

After the update, the application settings and activation parameters will remain the same. Everything will just work faster.

Since December 1, our service follows a new development strategy. Several months ago Wapalta ceased being just a mobile email service when we introduced Vkontakte and Odnoklassniki messaging.

Now we’ve taken another giant step forward. Meet the new Wapalta, which will become a personal Internet guide in your pocket.

Now you always have all the necessary information at hand – everything is bundled up within one easy-to-use application. You don’t have to remember the URLs of the sites you visit for information. It’s all much simpler! In the menu, you just select the category of information you want to get, and our smart server-based program will browse through Internet resources to find what suits you most and deliver the information quickly and efficiently right into your mobile phone.

Looking up words in an encyclopedia is a good example. You simply enter the headword and receive a compiled article based on information from different sources: Wikipedia, the Great Soviet Encyclopedia, etc.

Another example is the library. Our program has created a collection of e-books “scattered” all over the Web and provided easy access to them. Just download the books and enjoy reading!

All the information channels featured in the new Wapalta comply with this new concept of a mobile browser. Thanks to our know-how, you get instant access to all the information you need. Besides, Wapalta saves far more traffic than any other browser.

Although our project deals with a wide range of mobile products, including the competitive platforms Java, Symbian, and Windows Mobile, we begin to actively cooperate with Microsoft.

Recently we have become a partner of this mega-corporation. We hope this partnership will be mutually beneficial.
